Technical Debt
The future cost created when a team chooses a quicker or simpler technical solution now instead of a better one. Like financial debt it can be a sensible trade-off, but unpaid debt makes every later change slower and riskier.
Example: To hit a launch date, a team hardcodes pricing into the app. It works, until pricing changes: now every update needs a developer and a release. What saved two days at launch costs a day every month after it.
