Glossary Term
Feature Factory
A team that measures success by how many features it ships instead of by the outcomes those features achieve. Work moves from request to release with little discovery beforehand and little measurement afterwards.
Example: The team celebrates shipping 40 features this year, but nobody can say which ones changed retention or revenue. Half have under 5% usage. The backlog is full, the roadmap is a list of requests, and "done" means deployed.
