Glossary Term
Now/Next/Later
A prioritization format that groups work into three time horizons instead of fixed dates: what the team is building now, what comes next, and what is planned for later. It communicates priority and direction without promising delivery dates that are likely to slip.
Example: Instead of promising "reporting in March", the roadmap shows reporting under Next. Stakeholders can see it is committed and coming after the current work, and the team avoids a date it would have missed.
