Meeting Cost
The real price of a meeting: the combined hourly cost of everyone in the room multiplied by its length, plus the focus time lost around it. Making the number visible helps teams decide which meetings deserve to exist.
Example: A weekly one-hour status meeting with eight people at an average of $60 an hour costs $480 a week, or about $25,000 a year. Replacing it with a written update and a 15-minute call for blockers saves most of that.
